“Since I’ve been making this work I’m much more tuned in to the changing colours of the seasons. I painted this bird on the first day of Spring, when the gloom of Winter is just starting to lift and everything looks, sounds and smells fantastic!”

The Spring, painted directly onto the Farrow and Ball paint chip for Calamine, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of twelve beautiful colours from the iconic Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm. It is sold unframed.

This miniature is signed and dated on the back and it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity.
