I’m happy to say I’ve opened up a commission option! I can accept a very limited number and here are all the details…

I have a range of paintings called The Greatest Hits. These are paintings where the subject and colour combination really sing, and I’m able to paint them more than once. There’s a Greatest Hit painting for all eleven strips of colour on the 2020 Farrow and Ball colour card. I’ve fine-tuned them over several years and they work together in a sequence, like a piece of music. This commission option is for one whole colour card with all eleven Greatest Hits paintings, one on each strip of colours, and a surprise, bonus painting on the twelfth strip. These paintings sell out really quickly when I have an Originals sale, so this is a rare chance to secure every single one, painted just for you and all onto one spectacular chart. Your walls will collapse from beauty!

This piece is designed for the 2020 version of the iconic Farrow and Ball colour card. This is the version that I first painted when this project began during the pandemic, I’ve stayed with it ever since and I know it like an old friend now. As it’s the older version of the colour card it’s no longer in production (I think it’s crossed over into the category of vintage paint charts now) and I don’t have many left! When I’ve run out I will no longer be able to offer this commission option but as of March 2026 it is open.

The Greatest Hits paintings are as follows: The Seagull on New White, The Airmail Letter on Old White, The Lips on Oxford Stone, The Victoria Sponge on French Gray, The Tux on Paean Black, The Eye on Pink Ground, The Bubbles on Preference Red, The Small Bird on Card Room Green, The Tennis Ball on Yeabridge Green, The Park on Borrowed Light and The World on Railings. You can see all the paintings below. The full piece measures 21cm x 91cm and is sold unframed, and the individual paintings measure 2cm x 3cm. The piece is signed, dated and embossed, it’s presented in a gift box and accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity and a text about the project.

Please note: this is slow, absorbing, meticulous work which seems impossible to rush, so this piece will take several weeks to complete.
