“I’ve started to see paint chips as a portal into an imagined world, and this painting takes this idea one step further. The paint chip is a pin board, and on the board is a postcard from a faraway beach. It’s a dream within a dream. The shadow from the drawing pin was one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever painted!”

The Postcard, painted directly onto the Farrow & Ball paint chip for London Stone, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of twelve beautiful colours from the iconic Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm.

This painting is signed and dated on the back, it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity and posted in a sturdy gift box.
