“This Winter I started noticing scenes where there seemed to be hardly any colour. I made this painting with just black, white and a tiny bit of yellow. It’s early morning on a cold day, when the mist rises up from the ground.”

The Mist, painted directly onto the Farrow and Ball paint swatch for Pavilion Gray, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of twelve beautiful colours from the iconic Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm. It is sold unframed.

This miniature is signed and dated on the back and it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity.
