“This is a painting of Anna Wintour’s last ever Vogue cover. It’s a portrait of Timothée Chalamet photographed by Annie Leibovitz. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to put it on a paint chip while the magazine was on the newsstands. I think it’s the most detailed painting I’ve ever made - Timothée Chalamet’s head is 1.5mm wide.”

The December Issue, painted directly onto the Farrow & Ball paint chip for Nancy’s Blushes, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of twelve beautiful colours from the iconic 2020 Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm. It is sold unframed.

This miniature is signed and dated on the reverse and it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity.
