“It’s a late January morning, the street lights are still on and on the ground it feels like night-time, but if you look at the sky on its own it’s actually a really deep, bright blue. It might not look like it but there is some light coming through and the winter is coming to an end.”

The Dark Morning, painted directly onto the Farrow and Ball paint swatch for Pitch Blue, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of twelve beautiful colours from the iconic Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm. It is sold unframed.

This miniature is signed and dated on the back and it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity.
