“I painted this the week Brian Wilson died. The combination of simplicity and complexity in his music is something I’ve always really admired. I played his music while I was painting this. It’s a painting of a woman who is feeling happy and sad at the same time while her bright blonde hair is swept up in the warm Californian breeze.”

The Breeze, painted directly onto the Farrow and Ball paint swatch for House White, is an original miniature painting by Rachel Spelling. The painting is 2cm x 3cm and it is served on a strip of twelve beautiful colours from the iconic Farrow & Ball colour card, which measures 7.4cm x 21cm. It is sold unframed.

This miniature is signed and dated on the back and it will be accompanied by a signed and embossed certificate of authenticity.
