This piece is a full set of twelve completely unique miniatures, painted onto one full Farrow and Ball colour card. These are the paintings that fly off in seconds in the Originals sales so this is a rare chance to buy twelve totally original pieces, all painted onto one beautiful paint chart. Your walls will collapse from beauty! This commission option can only be ordered for a limited time; it’s designed for the 2020 Farrow and Ball colour card, which has the layout and colour order that I’ve worked with so much and know like an old friend. I don’t have many left, so this piece will not be available indefinitely, but commissions are currently open.

The whole piece measures 21cm x 91cm and the individual paintings are 2cm x 3cm. There will be one miniature on each of the twelve vertical strips of colours, and together they will form one whole, considered composition. With this piece you are welcome to have some input. You might like to include a place or an idea or a colour that’s of special significance to you. I’d suggest that you give me up to three ideas, and then let me take it from there. Over time I’ve developed a sense of what works well at this scale, so I’ll be able to let you know if the ideas you’d like to see included will be possible, and if they aren’t we can work together to find a solution. These paintings come together very slowly and when they start to work I get a shiver down my spine; it’s really exciting work to make! There’s likely to be a wait list for this piece.
