HAND-PAINTED TROPICAL LEAVES MURAL

This was a mural for a playroom for four children aged zero to nine. The room has a big window onto a lovely green space, and my brief was to bring the outdoors in, and create a space that adults could enjoy as much as children. My client also asked me to keep it big and bold, which went against my instincts but I learnt a lot, and I loved painting this one. It channeled a big interiors trend, and paid homage to that year’s gorgeous Pantone Colour of the Year which was 'Greenery', one of my all-time favourite colours.
