HAND-PAINTED WOODLAND MURAL

The brief for this mural was to create a cosy reading nook for a brother and sister. I wanted to create an imaginative space that would light up their imagination, and inspire a love of reading. I painted an autumnal tree stretching right up to the ceiling, with the children's names painted as wooden signs nailed to the tree. The tree features lots of woodland animals - if you look closely you will see an owl, a squirrel, a bird, a hedgehog, a fox, two butterflies, a spider, a ladybird and a snail!
